- 12.5 ounces of regular flour ( around 2.5 cups)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 3.5 ounces of powdered sugar

How to Make
Start by hitting your oven to about 350ºF. In a food processor or even by hand, add the flour, salt and powdered sugar, and mix. Then add the butter ad milk and mix until you get a dough which is soft and smooth. With a rolling pin smash about 2/3 of the sliced almonds and combine in the mix. It’s important to let the dough rest a bit, so plastic wrap the dough and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes.
Once the dough is cold, it is ready to be used, Roll the dough on a floured baking sheet to just under a ¼-inch in thickness. Using a round cookie cutter, cut out rounds from the dough. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and add the rest of the sliced almonds on top. Before baking, take some melted butter and brush each cookie, that will give the almonds a nice color and some flavour.
Bake for around 15-20 minutes, till the cookies are golden. Let the cookies to cool down, and then sprinkle some sugar powdered on top.
